This 1,000,000-sq.-ft. warehouse, located in Dothan, AL, features 105,000 square feet of frozen storage and 185,000 square feet of refrigerated storage space, along with 920,000 square feet dedicated to dry storage. Easily accessible from the ports of Mobile, AL; New Orleans, LA; Savannah, GA; and Jacksonville and Panama City, FL, this facility’s location also provides convenient access to I-10, one of the country’s major east-west trucking routes.
Alabama Frozen Storage Capacity
The Alabama frozen warehouse is managed by a professional logistics team dedicated to providing top-rated customer service and exceptional value. With a focus on high velocity fulfillment, this new facility offers 10 truck docks for efficient loading and unloading and 10,300 pallet positions to satisfy most storage needs. Ammonia refrigeration and 36-hour blast freezing capabilities are also available.
These facilities hold a “AA” rating from BRC Global Standard, the highest BRC Food Grade rating available. Additionally, the facilities are FDA registered, USDA certified (including USDA certified for export loading) and offer REAL TIME inventory visibility.
Alabama Refrigerated Storage
This facility has been rated one of the top temperature-controlled storage facilities in the Southeast. The warehouse’s cold storage space was designed to accommodate storage needs from 34 degrees F. and up. Additional features include drive-in racking and a 43-million-pound capacity.
Services provided at this Alabama warehouse, which is served by the CSX railway, include loading, unloading, trans-loading, freight consolidation and repacking.
Temperature-Controlled Inventory Management
