If you are looking for convenient frozen storage options in the Midwest, Palisades Logistics has your solution thanks to our Indiana warehousing partner.
Our partner recently opened a new deep frozen storage facility adjacent to an existing temperature-controlled warehouse in Greenfield, IN, with a second temperature-controlled warehouse in nearby Plainfield, IN. Positioning this new frozen warehouse near two temperature-controlled facilities gives customers the convenience of storing all their inventories in close proximity.
The new Indiana frozen warehouse, designed to meet certification requirements for Safe Quality Foods, Organic, and American Institute of Bakery, offers 300,000 square feet of storage space, with 40 dock doors and 38,000 pallet positions. Talks are already underway for a 100,000-sq.-ft. expansion that would provide an additional 12,000 pallet positions, in an effort to meet the increasing need for frozen storage options.
Modern, Efficient, Convenient Cold Storage
Unlike most cold storge facilities, this new warehouse uses a non-hazardous synthetic refrigerant in place of traditional ammonia-based systems and features three distinct chambers that can be adjusted to different temperatures to meet customers’ varying requirements.
Situated along the key interstate route of I-70, the facility provides access within a one-day drive to most of the country’s population, accommodating fast-delivery of inventories, an important consideration when choosing a facility for storing frozen inventories.
Satisfying Our Indiana Customers’ Demands for Frozen Storage
By incorporating the latest technologies and flexibility to meet individual customer requirements, this new Indiana warehouse provides Palisades Logistics’ customers with the quality and customer satisfaction they have come to expect. Palisades Logistics strives to meet all of its customers’ warehousing and logistics needs through partnerships with dependable, innovative companies and this latest endeavor with our Indiana warehousing partner is no exception.
